Always delicious food, great service and a homey ambience! Came in on Christmas Day to pick up a hefty amount of food and they were open regular hours. Thank you for amazing food and service! Makes me miss Damascus every single time.

I ordered through the app TooGoodToGo, which made this an experience that I wasn't sure how would end. I am happy to say that it was a great experience. I ordered two platters with the app and the amount of food I was given and the quality of the food I was given exceeded my expectations. The chicken platter was rice and chicken and spinach lemon dish. It was delicious . The meat dish that I had was pasta and eggplant dish, with a surprise of stuffed lamb intestines . I could not eat everything at once and it's lasted me three days. The server is a typical surly character but I never expect to get friendly customer service in a place that is predominantly served by one particular culture. Especially in but the young women that was serving in the grocery section was lovely , respectful and efficient. I will definitely go there again. Was overall an enjoyable experience. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the surly character made me feel quite uncomfortable as a female.

This has been my hidden gem off Steinway since it was called the Cedars and the shawarma in pita was only $3.50. Line everything else the prices aren't quite that cheap but still very reasonable compared to the rest of the World. Any of the pita sandwiches are fantastic but the true Beaty is at the steam table. For $10 they'll stuff the container with any combo of your choice until it can barely close. And those choices are diverse and delicious. This is real home style Lebanese cooking. Or at least what I would imagine that to be if I had a Lebanese mother could really cook. I'd list sone of my favorites but really everything is tasty and satisfying. The kibbe is also so good to snack on. They also are a middle easter grocery so I can pick up provisions for home on my lunch break. Nice people working here too. It's places like Al Nour that remind me that it's the un curated establishments make the NYC food scene.

An excellent middle Eastern restaurant in Woodside/Astoria. The babaganoush was the start, smoky and smooth, perfect with pita. The salads were all fresh and refreshingly lightly dressed. The family meal included 12 kabobs and the beef and Adana kabobs were standout. Moist and will seasoned with a nice char on the outside.

Read about this place on Eater and had to try. Wonderful food, massive portions and inexpensive. We split the al nour platter, 2 kibbeh, grape leaves and meat pies with sodas and it came to $22 and we have leftovers. Will definitely return!
